Daoud Kuttab

Born in Jerusalem. Founder and director of Community Media Network a Middle Eastern NGO dedicated to advancing independent media through new and alternative platforms. He was Ferris Professor of Journalism in 2007-'08 at Princeton University. Also he was the founder and director of Institute of Modern Media at Al Quds University in Palestine which includes AL Quds Educational TV, set up and run the Arab world's first Internet radio www.ammannet.net and Radio al Balad an fm radio station broadcasting on 92.4fm in the Jordanian city of Amman.He is founder of Pen Media a subsidiary of Community Media Network. Pen Media signed a contract to produce 52 episodes of Shara'a Simsim, the Palestinian version of Sesame street.
